Logos & Branding

A collection of freelance branding work that allows me to flex my graphic design muscle and stay involved in that industry even if it's not part of my day-to-day work anymore.

The Oops Box

The Oops Box is an art subscription box geared towards children, grades 1-7. The goal was to create something fun, modern, and minimalist that appeals to both children and their parents. My task was to create the logo, brand guidelines, and website for the launch of this subscription service. Website coming soon!

Logo design

Very friendly and child like. The rounded, misplaced letters feel handwritten. This was the goal when creating the logo. The primary logo will most often be presented in all black, but can also be adapted for use on darker backgrounds.

The secondary logo is used in places where the logo is best suited for a horizontal layout.

Finally, at the end after finalizing the primary logo design I was asked to create some alternatives to be used primarily in retail purposes. The logo variants feature the primary logo with some additional colour and texture added.

Overall, the goal of the logo was it to be able to be adapted many different ways while keeping the brand recognizable.

For The Dogs

Logo design for a dog training business. A new and refreshed logo unlocked their ability to start selling animal leashes out of Vancouver, Canada.

Tammy Traube Design Group

Logo and branding for an established interior design group based in Michigan. The company had operated without a cohesive brand identity for some time, and what existed was beginning to feel outdated. One of the interior designers reached out directly for help creating a logo that reflected the modern, sleek aesthetic they bring to their clients.

After chatting with the client, I requested some design inspiration that they had seen out in the world or online, so I had a better grasp at what they were looking for. I created a Pinterest board and shared it with the client so that we could share ideas, this became incredibly helpful throughout the process.

The client needed a wordmark logo, but also mentioned something smaller that could work for invoices and social media. This is what ended up becoming the monogram brand mark logo. After one round of edits, we landed on a simplistic approach that brought their branding to the next level.
